How to deal with elusive thoughts of Psychosis

Psychosis & Staying Hopeful

It is at most hard-to-understand mental illnesses, many of us will not suffer it throughout our whole life, however, that does not mean that we should forget to recognise the signs of illnesses such as psychosis, schizophrenia, depression and bipolar. Most of these illnesses are triggered by stress. Small Things that build-up and accumulate often become a large part of high demand and triggers stress and the illness begins to materialize faster than we can cope with.

Psychosis at most does night materialize overnight. It is a contradiction to say we are born to suffer from a mental illness when our brains from birth are for most are healthy. Talking from experience psychosis is normally progressive after a long duration of stress. The symptoms are quite easy to pinpoint. For the person that suffers from psychosis, they will normally say that everything is ok. The real argument from doctors is, do you feel the world around is real and do you feel like you are extra special?

Been asked if you are extra special or have superpowers or if you are gifted with a special Force is normal from doctors because they are thinking about other people’s safety and how you can control yourself. They are monitoring you to calculate and prioritise how you stand within a public area. This subsequently determines whether you should be categorised and sectioned until you are happy enough to be within a public environment once more. For example, one might say, ”I feel I know what is happening around me more than most people do themselves and I often experience when something bad is going to happen as an extra edition to my awareness.”

Psychosis & schizophrenia

Psychosis can lead to schizophrenia if not treated accordingly at the time of diagnosis. If you have suffered a huge amount of stress, feel the world is collapsing around you, people are not making much sense and you feel that your life seems to be more of a dream, it is time to seek help. Personally, I am very outspoken about psychosis and know what it is like to suffer in a world of your own. The problem is that’s sometimes reality does not exist for a sufferer of psychosis because they are witnessing something that to them is normal and is right but to others is abnormal.

Unfortunately, one that has psychosis must deal with it on medication which in turn works given the body accepts it and the treatment is right for the patient. Doctors must provide the correct dosage for the patient for them to maintain a normal life, not a life of continued abnormal sleep patterns, drowsiness, and elusive unreal episodes that are at most unreal. The most common successful treatment or psychosis for most sufferers tends to be olanzapine. This can be prescribed as doctors feel the need be for patients to heal.

Psychosis is an experience most people will not suffer throughout the duration of their lives. Most people that suffer from psychosis mostly have been through a huge number of stress-related scenarios that led them to believe that their life does not belong in the normal world anymore. My personal experience from psychosis is that for some reason I thought God was in control of my actions and my thoughts, therefore, I thought that everything was normal. After some research, the God theory seems to be quite common with psychosis sufferers.

For those that have suffered from psychosis mostly never contradict those that disagreed with their ideas, thoughts, and actions. The person living with psychosis after treatment tend to relax and the thoughts become more of a dream translucent part of the past. However, the memories and everything that was part of the psychotic episode as a memory never seems to fade. My question is a simple question. Why is something that is driven by stress able to hold on to us when we recover when most illnesses make us forget?

The Personal View from a Phychosis Sufferer

After suffering from psychosis people tend to keep themselves to themselves and never talk about it unless asked. It is quite easy to fall back into a psychotic state if too much stress enters a past sufferers’ environment even after recovery and medication, it is like walking on broken glass. People living with psychosis learn to live with it even though the awareness of their surroundings seems hyper tense, however, paranoia is often part of this problem and can make living life hard.

The good news is that psychosis can be controlled not just by medication from the doctors but can also be controlled by a good diet and healthy living. Alcohol and recreational drugs can be a huge part of what triggers psychosis. If you are reading this, understand the prognosis of what makes you feel better in the long run. If you are suffering from super stress, hypertension, or abnormal thoughts, seek advice from a doctor and get help before the condition materialises into something that you simply won’t be able to come to terms with.
